FACILITIES AND FEATURES

Entertaining, Luscious, and Chintzy. that's what Moshi Manju's Korean cake brings us. Yesterday as I was thinking of a new content for the Blog, I thought of coming up with a Food cart series where I will feature some of unique and delicious food that you may find in food cart setting. so here's one. I went to Moshi Manju's food cart located in Victory Mall in Monumento, Caloocan. ever since I discovered how this Korean cake is being baked using the what I call their choo choo train-oven. I thought someday I will show the world how cool this Food cart is.

AMBIANCE - I like the design of their food cart. It looks authentic Korean. The cart is well lit. and their train-like electric oven is marvelous the kids will like it for sureSERVICE - Their staff is hygienic. they always clean their equipment and their food cart. The Service is OK. they are friendly and they act quick. they are nice to every customer|
PRESENTATION - The food is served inside a french fries-like pouch which is made of thin Greaseproof paper. holding the food with only this thin paper packaging may burn your hands because the food was straight from the oven. it's literally hot. How I wish they will use food pouch made of carton in the future.
FOOD - The aroma is really appetizing. you can smell the luscious and fragrant mini cake from a distance, and it will make you hungry really quick (insert drooling emoji). Now, Lets talk about the taste. I really like how it was baked. It was golden brown with a nice crunch on the outside. The cake is covered with simple embossed pattern around it. The taste of the this mini Korean cake is on the sweeter side. specially the filling.
There is a generous amount of gooey filling in every Moshi Manju cake. The cake has two exciting flavors: Pastillas De Leche and Chocolate. To me, their Pastillas De Leche is quite similar to our Filipino favorite. Yema. Unfortunately the chocolate filling is not so chocolatey for me. Sorry guys, I'm just being honest here... In any case, I love how they baked it.
OVERALL, I like it. However, I won't eat as much of it since it's too sweet for my taste. in terms of the price, It's very affordable. There are several packs to choose from. The smallest pack contains 4 mini Korean cakes for only P20.00. An 8-piece pack costs 40.00, a 15-piece pack costs 70.00, while a 24-piece pack costs 110.00 (perfect as Barkada's snack).
RESTAURANT RATING
SUGGESTIONS:
1st. Lessen the sweetness of the filling. it will also be healthier specially to those who have diabetes already.
2nd. Please add more flavors and fillings. for example add cheese flavor, strawberry jam and ham for the meat-lovers
3rd. change the packaging to carton to lessen the heat causing burning of the hands
