AnnaPoorna: trully Authentic Indian Restaurant in the Philippines

Hello foodies! It's me again MasarapDito back at it again with another food blog/Restaurant review.
yesterday, we were invited by our good friend Sir. Rameash,  to write a review about their restaurant and their food. AnnaPoorna is a restaurant that offers Quality and Authentic Indian cuisine situated at Gateway Regency Tower just behind Robinson's forum in Mandaluyong City.

as I entered the restaurant, I was amazed to see how beautiful and cozy the interior is. there are also Indian paintings and decors. the air conditioning is cold and the smell at the restaurant is pleasant. they also have a strong and reliable wifi connection.
the menu offers a wide variety of choices. all the food here is healthy they even have a vegetarian menu perfect for health-conscious people. AnnaPoorna caters to Call center agents, I.T. employees, and condominium tenants. Of all of the restaurants I visited, AnnaPoorna has the best service by far.
the servants are super friendly and always ready to assist you whenever you need them. and the chefs are highly trained from one of the best hospitality colleges in India. that's why thefood is professionally cooked to perfection. all the staff is approachable, kind, and friendly.

the food was ambrosial. you cannot get any better than this. the presentation of the food was mouth-watering and appetizing. the way they cook the food and all the ingredients are authentic. they even have a tandoor., a large brick oven, usually made of clay, that has been used to bake unleavened flatbreads, such as roti and naan, as well as to roast meat. the food is Quality. I really like how they cook the meat. it is always juicy, moist, tender, and flavorful. the sauces were tasty, spicy, and rich. they are delicious. the vegetables are fresh, cooked right, and palatable.
What I enjoyed the most are their Chicken Biryani and Paneer Tikka. If you will eat here you might taste food that you haven't tried before. and that to me is a nice experience.

In conclusion, I highly suggest you come and visit AnnaPoorna Authentic Indian and International cuisine to experience truly Authentic Indian food. so authentic that even the Indian embassy to the Philippines says it's authentic. AnnaPoorna Restaurant is perfect for friends and family gatherings. if you and your friends want to drink they also have Heineken draft beer as well as other drinks.

by the way guys they have an Irresistible Promo. it's an "All-you-can-eat Dosa" with thirty-five varieties from meats to vegetables it is available every Sunday from 4 PM onwards.

they also deliver via GrabFood and FoodPanda.
if you are wondering what AnnaPoorna means, according to Sir. Rameash it is derived from ANNA, which means food, and Poorna means complete. put them together it's Complete food. also, AnnaPoorna is named after
the Hindu Goddess of food and nourishment.

I invite you to come and dine here at AnnaPoorna Indian Restaurant to experience truly Authentic Indian food that is delicious. and affordable. it's definitely #MASARAPDITO sa AnnaPoorna Indian and International Restaurant.

Soya sauce Chicken: michelin starred dish at HawkerChan

Good day foodies! Yesterday, I visited HawkerChan over at SM Grand Central, Caloocan to try their famous Michelin-starred dish no other than SOYA SAUCE CHICKEN. Did you know that HAWKERCHAN has been Awarded as the world's first Michelin-starred restaurant for its Soya Sauce Chicken? and in fact, their Soya sauce chicken is considered the World's Cheapest Michelin star and that's what I tried yesterday. the food price is from ₱168 up to 343 pesos only.

As you enter the place you will be guided by their waiter towards your table and if you wander your eyes around you'll see that the interior design of the place is Scandinavian and the ambiance is really good, the air conditioning is cold. I think this restaurant caters to people who like to eat delicious and authentic food at affordable prices. their menu offers noodles, chicken, duck, and beef dishes.to tell you guys they are appetizing and flavorsome their staffs are professional and attentive you'll even have your own personal waiter standing near your table I really love their service.

Soya Sauce Chicken

Special Sauces

The food arrived almost immediately it was served hot. the dish consists of chicken, soybeans, rice with sauce on top, and prawn crackers. I tried first the white prawn crackers. It is crunchy and it has a subtle fishy-taste to it the texture is similar to krupuk udang or kropeck in Tagalog.

the second one I tried was the soybean side dish it is a little firm but a little soft on the inside. the taste of it is sweet and savory the next thing I tried was the rice with sauce on top. the white rice is soft and fragrant.

the sauce is thin dark brown color, and the taste is sweet, a little bit salty, and savory it is really delicious

now let's talk about the chicken. the serving is big it is chicken quarters chopped into slices. you'll notice first the skin of the chicken wow! it looks so mouth-watering it seems to me that it is glazed by its dark brown sauce. when you bite into it you'll know that it was cooked by a good chef. it is moist, tender but well-cooked and it is flavorful. very delicious! no wonder it was awarded a Michelin star. literally Napapikit ako sa sarap.

by the way, I highly suggest that you dipped the chicken in their special vinegar the one on the left is spiced vinegar with green chili. it is tangy, spicy, and a little sweet. on the right side is spicy-sour vinegar but it reminds me of atchara or pickled green papaya. but spicier when you dipped it in the sauce everything changed. the tangy-spicy vinegar compliments the sweet and savory taste of the chicken.

In conclusion, to me, my experience in HawkerChan is like a marriage of affordability and deliciousness with unmatched quality and hospitality. I highly recommend that you visit and dine here at HawkerChan.
